With the new season comes new anime and all of us started to scratch our head because there is a vast majority of new anime to watch and yet have so little time. Each one of us goes through the pain of finding something good that will be worth our time. But fear not my fellow weebs, for I am here to suggest you or at least give some insight as to what is in store for us this season.
1)Boku No Hero Academia Season 4
My Hero Academia is getting its 4th season this fall and this is one of the most hyped anime that will air this season. Also known as My Hero Academia is written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. My Hero Academia is about the journey of a boy who was born quirkless in an era where quirks are common as he overcomes those hardships to achieve his dream, to become a symbol of hope for everyone. Although the concept may seem like an average story, it is not depending upon what your expectations are. What makes My Hero Academia stands out from shounen crow is the show’s strong cast is the fact that you will love every single one of the characters and the details that Kōhei Horikoshi put into them. Villains are written beautifully and have reasons for their actions that will make you sympathize with them.
I don’t want to spoil anything for both new viewers and fan alike but mark my words that you should watch My Hero Academia
2) Fate/Grand Order – Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia
Another anime to binge-watch this season will be Fate/Grand Order Babylonia. The announcement of the show has been great news for Type moon fanboys and for me (I am a fan duh). The show will be ANOTHER entry in the vast never-ending labyrinth known to the common man as Fate Franchise and will confuse the fans who have yet to discover this franchise. What makes me most hype about This show is that it will be featuring my boy Gilgamesh and his ancient adventure in Babylonia.
Fate/Grand Order – Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia is the adaptation of the Babylonia chapter from the Role Playing Game Fate/Grand Order. Although this anime is a must-watch, you will not be able to grasp what is going on without exploring previous adaptation. So should you drop it? No, you should catch up to it because we all know you have nothing better to do.
3) Psycho Pass Season 3
Technology and its hazards! Who doesn’t want some fancy tech stuff to make everything easier, maybe a self-aware spreadsheet to execute what your mind commands or maybe a fancy looking gadget that’ll do your homework. The crucial thing we forget is that every positive has a negative and so is the case with technology. Psycho-Pass is set in a world where technology is so advanced that it reads mind and determine what a human is going to do next. it identifies the criminals before they even commit a crime. Is this justice or cruelty? Is the dystopia we are leaning towards? All of this is executed through the Sybil System. As we venture through the story, we come to understand that the decisions made by the Sybil System are sometimes not justified.
This Psychological Thriller is getting its third season this fall and if you have a thing for this type of anime and you haven’t watched it then you are missing out big.
4) Food Wars Season 4
Shokugeki no Soma or Food wars is written by Yūto Tsukudaa and Illustrated by Shun Saeki. This anime follows the story of Yukihira, Souma who was a chef in a normal restaurant owned by his father, one day his father decided to close the restaurant and sent Souma to a cooking school where he met talented people and is faced with a challenge to prove his worth. The concept is not complex but storytelling is the main selling point. Whether it is a very detailed recipe or a cooking fight, the show will make you forget about your
To make it simple, if you like food then you will like food wars and who doesn’t like food?
5) Shinchou Yuusha: Kono Yuusha ga Ore Tueee Kuse ni Shinchou Sugiru:
Okay, now that’s a hard name to remember. Ah well, here we go again. Here comes another Isekai anime in a sea of Isekai anime.
Also known as Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious is an anime where the MC is overpowered and is summoned by a useless goddess. The premise does remind me of AQUA from Konosuba (Now there is something to look forward to).
Why this show? Isn’t it another one of your average isekai anime with some extra words in a name? The fact that makes it different from other Isekai anime is an interesting concept of the “Overly Cautious” protagonist. For instance, Our cautions hero likes to prepare for the fights that may not happen, blows all of his kits on a single slime just to make sure it’s dead and buy three sets of armor just in case. I think you understand what I am getting at. The concept does seem promising enough to make it a good watch.
